Campaign/Setup Notes In 1587, John White re-established the Roanoke colony in what is now North Carolina in North America. When a ship arrived in 1590 the colony had been abandoned, with the only clue being the word “CROATOAN” carved into the palisade. Over the centuries, theories have included a harsh winter, being massacred by the native tribes the colony disrupted, integrating with those tribes, and even evacuating to the Croatoan island. But perhaps it was demons… Travel back to 1587 as a colonist of Roanoke and change history. Will the colony survive, or will the demons succeed in wiping Roanoke from history? *Cultural note: Other than the description above derived from Wikipedia, no references will be made regarding the native American tribes. They are only described to set the historical backdrop for the story.*
